Pads seem like the easiest option, until you realize that they do nothing to treat the underlying issue, weak pelvic floor muscles.
Bladder leakage does not improve by itself, and often worsens, requiring thicker pads as you age.
Plus, using pads adds up…
The average woman living with bladder leakage will spend upwards of $50,000.00 in her lifetime on pads.
If that isn’t enough to sway you, we all want to do what is right for the environment. We use canvas bags at the grocery store, choose reusable water bottles and separate our recyclables.
Pads take up to 500 years to decompose, but one Apex can stop the need for pads entirely.
Kegel exercises were developed in 1948 by Dr. Arnold Kegel. He discovered that by contracting the pelvic floor, the muscles could strengthen and improve the support of the internal organs.
Unfortunately, it has been shown that even when women are properly trained in how to do a “Kegel” over half can’t perform it correctly and in some cases, actually do more harm than good!
Luckily, we have had a lot of advances in technology and health care since Dr. Kegel’s time (think about computers… cell phones… drones).
Apex was specifically designed by InControl Medical to provide a better solution to strengthen the pelvic floor naturally and quickly, treating bladder leakage at the source.
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles at the base of the torso and responsible for supporting the internal organs. Watch the video to see how Apex works!
DO YOU ALWAYS CHOOSE BLACK PANTS JUST IN CASE YOU “LEAK” A BIT DURING EXERCISE?
It is a fact that athletic women experience bladder leakage as often as the average woman, often wearing pads or black workout clothes to avoid embarrassment.
While bladder leakage is common, it is not at all a symptom that should be ignored, as it will often worsen with time. If you leak when you exercise, it is a sign that your pelvic floor is not functioning as well as it should. Apex helps you get to the “core” of fitness by strengthening your pelvic floor.
DO YOU AVOID RUNNING AND JUMPING WITH YOUR CHILDREN BECAUSE YOU LEAK?
Following pregnancy and delivery the pelvic floor muscles are strained and have difficulty returning to their pre-baby position, allowing for leakage to occur.
Now, you can jump, run and play without leaks because Apex strengthens the muscles of the pelvic floor, restoring control and eliminating leakage naturally.
HOW ARE THOSE KEGELS WORKING OUT FOR YOU???
If you are a woman, it is likely that you have been told at some point to “do your Kegels” to keep your pelvic floor strong and fit. A strong pelvic floor does have its benefits, as it helps you to avoid bladder leakage, prolapse and improve sexual satisfaction. But, doing Kegels isn’t always the most effective way to strengthen your pelvic floor. In fact, over half of women (even after formal instruction) are not able to properly complete a pelvic floor contraction (Kegel).
Apex takes the confusion out of Kegels by strengthening the pelvic floor using muscle stimulation. This stimulation activates the muscles of the pelvic floor to contract and relax, improving strength without over-complicating things.

Once inserted, Apex inflates via an ergonomically designed hand pump, ensuring that the muscle stimulation contacts are always in the proper position. Apex features 10 levels of stimulation, providing you a comfortable, effective contraction to strengthen your pelvic floor.
A: When using muscle stimulation it is recommended that you slowly progress until you feel a full contraction of your pelvic floor muscles—it feels as if your vaginal muscles are pulling upward and inward—simply, a Kegel exercise done properly for you. When beginning your stimulation session, you may feel a slight tingle and as you continue to increase the stimulation level you will feel a comfortable contraction of your pelvic floor muscles.
